About Me

I have lived in Whatcom County for over 30 years and have raised my family here in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. We enjoy walking with our dogs, growing food and being in nature, tai chi and qigong practice, making music and horsemanship with our two rescued mustangs.

I graduated from a two year mindfulness meditation teacher training program (the MMTCP) with Jack Kornfield and Tara Brach in February 2023. I love working with individuals and groups to support people in cultivating mindfulness practices that can sustain us all in these complex times.

I graduated from both Fairhaven College at WWU (BA, 1996) and Whatcom Community College (Massage Therapy, 2004). Before attending massage school, I had a background in human services, with a focus on substance abuse treatment.

I have worked both in private practice and in a well-established Bellingham medical massage treatment clinic since obtaining my massage degree.

It is through personal experience that I first came to this profound treatment modality. In 2008, I suffered a car accident that ultimately served to help me better understand the discomfort that many people are experiencing when they seek help from bodywork. The recovery process from this accident is also what led me to first experience, and then to study CranioSacral Therapy.

CST is the therapy that most deeply helped me heal from my multiple injuries. It reduced my pain and got me back to normal functioning more quickly than any of the other treatments I had tried.

I love my work, and have consistently seen that CranioSacral Therapy changes lives- not just tissue problems- but one's entire experience can shift when participating in this healing work. If you are ready to embark on such healing changes for yourself, your child or your equine companion, please reach out.
